In order to do this, it maintained a «frenetic» activity in social networks, where it used several profiles and had a multitude of ‘friendships’, some of which showed explicitly and without artifice jihadist contents of extreme harshness. The detainee did not show any fear of legal reprisals for his actions which, according to the investigators, is «a symptom of his dangerousness and of his deep commitment to the terrorist organization.»

Among the contents that the detainee distributed and received were multiple references to leaders of the Jihadist terrorist struggle, notably Osama bin Laden, and had as a model the four terrorists who in 2004 immolated themselves in a flat in Leganés and in which a deceased Member of the National Police.

This police operation, which is still open, has been carried out under the supervision of the Central Court of Instruction number 3 of the National Court and coordinated by the Prosecutor’s Office of the National Court.

Since 2015, when the Ministry of the Interior has raised the Anti-Terrorism Alert Level (NAA-4) to 4, the Security Forces have arrested a total of 169 jihadi terrorists.
